  • Dr McLeod has served on the board of directors of both privately held and publically traded companies.  He is currently an independent Director for the multinational Cancer Genetics (Nasdaq: CGIX), as well as several privately held companies.  Dr McLeod has also served in both member and chair roles for Scientific Advisory Committees and Medical Affairs Committees of such companies.

  • Dr McLeod is an active consultant in discovery, validation, and implementation of Genomic Medicine strategies for biomedical companies and health systems.

Family - Howard has been married to Donya McLeod since 1989.  They have a daughter Katie and son Max
Ancient Cartography - Howard is a collector of 1500-1700 century maps, including a renown collection of historical maps of Jamaica
Rock Music -  bass guitar, vocals The Potentials - 1982-1984.  Wrote lyrics/music for 4 song EP, band featured future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dave Krusen (Pearl Jam, Candlebox) on drums
